Our school was founded in 1991. We are in an urban zone near the sea in one of the three builded zones into Mijas municipality. There are many families working in service sector (hotels, restaurants, construction,etc) and administration workers.
There are 550 pupils this school year , 150 in pre-primary and 400 in primary, learning in two different buildings. We are 33 teachers, 7 pre-primary and 26 primary with differents specialities (Music, english, primary). We are I.C.T. school and all of our pupils 11 and 12 years old have a netbook to support the learning classes.
Our class time is from 9,00 a.m. to 14,00 p.m. but we open the school at 7,00 a.m. to get the pupils who their parents work early in the morning. The school cantine time is from 14,00 to 16,00 p.m. and some pupils have extracurricular activities like english, computer, flamenco dance, etc from 16,00 to 18,00 p.m.
